How commissions works
1. Fill the form below. Tell me a bit about the piece, including size, subject, any reference images or inspiration, and a little about the space or person it’s for.
2. I’ll reach out to you. I’ll reply within 3 business days with a quote and any initial thoughts. If we’re a good fit, I’ll send a 50% deposit invoice to confirm your slot.
3. I’ll sketch the concept. Once your deposit is received, I’ll send a sketch or concept for your feedback before starting the painting.
4. The painting. Once you approve the sketch, I’ll start painting your piece.
5. Final touches & delivery. Once you approve the finished piece and the remaining 50% is paid, I’ll let the painting dry, then pack it carefully, fully insured, and send it your way.

After you reach out and before I start sketching the initial concept, if we are a good fit, I’ll send an invoice for a 50% deposit (this confirms your commission slot and is non-refundable) as it reserves dedicated time in my schedule. The remaining 50% is invoiced once the piece is complete and approved, before shipping.
Yes, the concept stage is exactly for this. Once you approve the sketch/concept, the painting begins, and at that point, I can make small adjustments (colour, detail, composition tweaks) but not full redesigns. This keeps the process smooth for both of us.
This is rare, but it’s why feedback happens at two points: the concept stage and the near-final photos, before the final payment is made. My goal is that by the time you see the finished piece, there are no surprises.
It depends. On average, 2–4 weeks from deposit to completion, depending on size and how many commissions are in progress. Smaller pieces are often quicker. I’ll give you a more specific estimate once I have your details.
Yes. Shipping costs above include careful packing and insurance. International shipping outside the EU may take longer and could involve customs fees, which are the buyer’s responsibility.
You own the physical painting; it’s yours to keep, hang, or pass on. I retain the copyright and reproduction rights to the image itself, as is standard practice for original artwork. This means I may photograph the finished piece and share it (for example, on Instagram or in my portfolio) unless you let me know it’s intended to be private, which I’m always happy to respect, especially for gifts or personal pieces.
All invoices issued and paid are non-refundable.
